Planning for Thimmana Kuduru

The proposal for the development of the small hamlet of Thimmanakuduru was a part of a master’s program at Manipal. The goal of the proposal was to create a long-term, self-sustaining solution for the community, taking into consideration the local context and lifestyle. The proposed solution involved the formation of a co-operative society and the creation of a self-sustaining agriculture-based locality as a prototype that could be adjusted over time based on data and feedback. This approach aimed to ensure that the solution was tailored to the specific needs and circumstances of the community, rather than imposing a one-size-fits-all solution. The goal of this approach was to increase the sustainability and success of the project in the long term.
